Did you know that the world's first V-Twin engine was built by Gottlieb Daimler in 1889? In the early 20th century they were used in many well known brands of motor bikes including Norton, NSU and Daimler. Harley Davidson first introduced the V-Twin in 1914 and they are still used today in their latest model V-Rod motorbikes where they are known as "Revolution" engines.
