Learn a fun scientific principle at bath time with this diving and surfacing submarine toy.

Runs on baking powder (not included) for exciting bubbling action.

When the sub is first placed in the water, it will begin to sink because it is heavier than the surrounding water.  But as the baking powder inside mixes with the water, harmless carbon dioxide gas bubbles are formed and released from the sub causing it to rise.

When enough of the carbon dioxide has been released, the sub once again becomes heavy enough to dive.  Whenthere is not enough carbon dioxide produced to make the subrise, it's time to refill with more baking powder!

Sold in individual packets with one submarine (11.5cm long) and one mini sub (6cm) per packet.
