Named after the village of Brighstone on the Isle of Wight, this dinosaur was a herbivore from the Lower Cretaceous.
Fossils discovered in 1978 thought to represent an Iguanodon were re-examined and the Brighstoneus genus erected in 2021. This dinosaur had a prominent, bulbous snout.
The patterning on the model would have helped to break up this herbivore's outline and camouflage it as Brighstoneus moved through the dimly lit understorey of the forest.
Each CollectA figure is handpainted with amazing accuracy and an eye for detail.
